The partnership with A Woman’s Worth Project (AWWP), Black Mothers in Power (BMIP), and Wilmington Freedom Alliance (WFA) aims to reduce the impact of the injustice system on Black communities, particularly those most vulnerable to its effects.

Participatory Defense provides support for individuals facing charges, their families, and communities to impact the outcome of cases and transform the landscape of power in the injustice system.
